Terms of Service
Article 1. Purpose
- The ikaclo Operating Team (hereinafter referred to as the Operating Team) hereby determines the terms of use (hereinafter referred to as the Terms) of the provided service “ikaclo” (hereinafter referred to as the Service) to be as follows.
- Any individual that registers according to the registration process established by the Service (hereinafter referred to as the User) uses the Service on the basis of consent to these Terms.
- These Terms apply to any and all conduct by the User when using the Service or any other service operated by the Operating Team.
Article 2. Changes to these terms of use
- The Operating Team shall reserve the right to make any changes to these Terms, including addition, modification, and deletion, without providing prior notification to the User.
- Following modification of these Terms, the User’s continued usage of the service shall constitute consent to the updated Terms.
Article 3. Accounts
- The User shall retain an account with the Service subsequent to their registration.
- In the event that the user registers personal information in their use of the Service, that information shall be complete and accurate.
- The User shall bear responsibility for the handling of their information.
- Users registered to the Service may delete their account and withdraw from the Service at any time.
- The Operating Team shall reserve the right to suspend or delete the User’s account without prior notification should they discover or suspect that the User has violated these Terms.
- The Operating Team shall reserve the right to suspend or delete any account that has not been accessed in over a year without prior notification of the User.
Article 4. Handling of personal information
- Personal information (information that can identify an individual, such as name, email address, address, phone number, date of birth, etc.) handled by the Operating Team shall be handled as established by the Personal Information Protection Policy.
Article 5. Copyright and intellectual property rights
- The intellectual property rights for all programs, product images and any other materials within the Service shall reside with the Operating Team or with their lawful rights holder. Any information provided to the User shall be restricted to the User’s personal use only. Any other use (including reproduction, transmission, transfer and reuse) without consent from the Operating Team is prohibited.
- The reproduction and/or use of any and all data submitted from the User to the Service to which the User has not consented is prohibited. However, the User may freely make use of data which the User has submitted themselves.
- The submission of any and all data by the User to the Service shall constitute consent to the Operating Team’s use of that data without compensation. However, the Operating Team shall appropriately handle, and shall not reveal to any outside parties, any data submitted by the user under the premise of secrecy.
Article 6. Prohibited Matters
- The Operating Team hereby prohibits the User from committing the following actions.
- Any conduct which causes or risks causing damage to the Operating Team or to any third party.
- Any conduct which infringes or risks infringing upon the property, privacy, or reputation of the Operating Team or any third party.
- Any conduct that infringes on or risks infringing on public policy.
- Any provision of false information, such as registering with another person’s email address.
- Using or sharing any harmful programs, such as computer viruses.
- Sending spam or any other kind of repeated email without consent.
- Any other conduct which infringes or risks infringing upon the law.
- Any other conduct which the Operating Team judges to be improper.
- In the event of a breach of the above provisions, the User consents that the Operating Team may claim compensation from the User. Also, in the event that the Operating Team discovers any submitted data that breaches the above provisions, the Operating Team shall reserve the right to delete the relevant data without advance notice.
Article 7. Disclaimers
- Though the Operating Team creates and/or handles all information published on the Service with great care, absolutely no guarantee is made regarding the completeness or accuracy of that information.
- The Operating Team shall reserve the right to suspend or halt operation of the Service, and/or modify all or part of the information published on the Service, with no prior notification.

The User shall bear responsibility for their use of any text,
links, images, photos, and any and all other materials submitted
or acquired via the Service.
The Operating Team shall bear absolutely no responsibility for any damages caused as a result of use of the Service, or as a result of an inability to use the Service for any reason, as well as any damages caused as a result of any posts, improper access, communications, emails, etc. from third parties.
Article 8. Cancellation of contract
- The Operating Team shall reserve the right to immediately suspend service towards any User found have acted in breach of these Terms.
- In the event of the occurrence of the conduct detailed in the previous paragraph, the Operating Team shall reserve the right to seek damages from the relevant User.
Article 9. Damages
- In the event that conduct in breach of these Terms by the User causes damage to the Operating Team, the Operating Team shall reserve the right to seek damages from the relevant User.
Article 10. Exclusive Jurisdiction
- In the event of any dispute in a court of law, the court of first instance shall be the Tokyo District Court.
Article 11. Special Cases
- Additional special provisions based on these Terms may be determined separately from these Terms.
- In the event that any provision in these Terms conflicts with any provision provided by the terms on any information page of any service provided by the Operating Team, the provision published on the given page of the given service shall apply.
(Supplementary Provisions)
- These Terms are effective as of June 21, 2017.
